Bulbs

The bulb is a generalization of the mandelbrot set to three dimensions. There's no good way to multiply in three dimensions (like the complex numbers in two dimensions or the quaternions in four dimensions), so you have to be tricky with it.

Back in undergrad I couldn't figure out the bulbs. It wasn't until later that I got it. So satisfying. Highly recommend.
